Volunteer at Sandpiper Lodge Residential Care
35 Washington Street Goolwa SA

Volunteers have many skills and life experiences that can help our residents to engage in the lifestyle program, with activities that suit their interests and boost their health and well-being.

Staff and volunteers work together to shape a lifestyle program that offers the best for our residents.

Depending on the Residential Care home and demand from residents, Leisure and Lifestyle volunteers may be able to assist with:

  • Crafting groups
  • Social groups
  • Gardening groups
  • Walking groups
  • Special activities, including using wheelchairs to assist residents
  • Companionship such as chats over coffee, garden walks and reminiscing over photo albums
  • Entertainment and concerts
  • Pet therapy
  • Beauty and nail therapy

We want to hear from you! Let us know if you have any skills or experiences that you think would benefit our residents.
