Right now we're looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Driver to join our Southern Cross Care Warehouse team located in Melrose Park.
About the role
The Warehouse Assistant / Driver will be responsible for delivering orders to SCC sites on a rotational basis and ensuring sufficient stocks are held and turned around to meet the needs and demands of SCC sites. The position will assist with all aspects of warehousing and logistics help to receive shipments and pick and pack orders.
The position is expected to build and maintain positive relationships with the Residential Site Managers (RSMs) and Care Managers at sites and to quickly gain a good operational knowledge of all imprest and clinical locations at SCC sites with regards to the supply of imprest inventory and maintaining and keeping the medical consumable rooms at sites clean and tidy at all times.
The equipment and consumables range includes medical equipment, medical consumables, office supplies, and any other products as determined by the Procurement department.

You will have previous experience in a warehouse environment, where experience as a delivery driver is desirable.
A current forklift license as well as current C Class license is essential.
All Southern Cross Care employees also require a current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care.
