We are looking for someone who can work across the following 3 positions with experience in each Food Services Assistant / Cleaner / Laundry Attendant to join our Residential team at McCracken Views (Victor Harbor).
About the role
As part of a keen, tight-knit team, you’ll help prepare and serve a wide variety of meals for residents in our care, staff, visitors and functions.
Each day you’ll ensure we meet safety, quality and hygiene standards while running a tight ship. You’re a flexible team player who’s happy to back colleagues and work when needed.
Good housekeeping is vital to the health and well-being of people in our care, visitors and staff. You’ll remove rubbish, maintain hygiene, dust and polish furniture, clean wet areas and mop, sweep and vacuum floors.
You’ll care for our residents by giving them the clean, fresh clothes and linen they enjoyed at home. You’ll also maintain hygiene and look after our laundry facilities to keep things running smoothly. Commercial cleaning experience is essential. You know the equipment and products and you have a reputation for meeting standards and schedules.
You are committed to Workplace Health and Safety and always follow correct procedures. Organised, keen to serve and effective alone and in teams, you appreciate and respond to people's needs by listening and communicating well.

Friendly, organised, self-sufficient and your kitchen expertise includes food hygiene. You communicate very well with people of all kinds – from nurses to the general public. Aged Care experience is preferred.
All Southern Cross Care employees also require a current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care.
