About the role

 

As the new owners of The Mornington Retirement Village, we are looking for an experienced Retirement Living Manager to join our team. 

 

You’ll be responsible for the overall management and customer services of The Mornington. Part of your role is to support sales including managing enquiries and conducting inspections at a time suitable to prospective residents. In addition, you'll manage the processes for new residents, promoting a culture within The Mornington that encourages positive lifestyle experiences for its residents.  You will be also responsible to ensure the facilitation of a range of healthy and active ageing initiatives supporting residents to be “Better for Life”. 

 

Liaising with the Group Manager, Retirement Living, you will ensure that policies, procedures and documentation comply with current legislation, Southern Cross Care’s internal standards, benchmarked industry standards and minimum standards as governed by the Retirement Villages Act.  The reporting of budget performance and site issues, actions and improvements is also pivotal to the role.

About you

 

You'll possess strengths in customer service management, leadership skills, business planning and the ability to meet budget requirements and achieve or exceed financial targets. Demonstrated experience in retirement living or property management will ensure your success in this role.  

 

Your leadership and management abilities will complement The Mornington's commitment to quality care, health and wellbeing as well as meeting the high standards expected by our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who can lead in a people-focused environment based on values.

 

All Southern Cross Care employees also require a current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care.
