You’ll help people achieve healthy active ageing and reablement in their own homes doing the things they love the most.
This will see you follow plans and keep careful records while preserving the dignity, privacy and rights of those in your care.
You’ll assist with a wide spectrum of activities of daily living from cleaning, making beds and showering, to personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and medication administration. You’ll also help your customers to do strengthening exercises and to provide social support and transport services.
You’re a highly effective communicator because you know how to listen and adapt your style.
Equally comfortable with direction and autonomy, you display initiative, integrity and a superior work ethic plus impressive organisational, time management and (most importantly) relationship-building skills. You have a strong team orientation and desire to serve.
You have a Senior First Aid Certificate, Certificate III in a relevant field (Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Individual Support), hold a current drivers licence, own a reliable vehicle, must be prepared to travel, work autonomously and in diverse conditions. Relevant experience for this role is essential.
