About the role


Doctors, dentists, and specialists; everyone needs them at some point and our residents need them too however they can’t always get to them on their own. So, are you someone who can help take others to their appointments on time? We can be flexible to work in with your schedule, by booking our appointments on days you’re available. 


Transportation is provided by our residents, usually in a Taxi. 


These appointment can take place at the local medical centre or it could be the local eye clinic for example.


The appointment may also be a shopping trip to the beach or the local shopping centre. Perhaps we may stop for a coffee whilst doing a little shopping.


Experience in a similar role is required as is clear communication skills and a commitment to customer service.


All volunteers require a police certificate for the purposes of Aged Care.
