Volunteer - Italian Companionship
John Paul II Village Residential Care Klemzig

Spiritual and cultural support is important for good quality of life and well-being for people living in Residential Care.

Some residents benefit from speaking in a language they are more familiar with, while others benefit from feeling spiritually connected.

Volunteers have many unique skills and life experiences that can help our residents to feel spiritually and culturally supported.

We want to hear from you if you can provide one on one support and companionship. This role requires the volunteer to speak fluent Italian.

Time commitment

This role ideally suits a volunteer with 15 hours to give per week. However, we work with all volunteers to set up the most suitable days and times for you. Any amount of time you can give, whether it’s a few days a week or a few hours a month, is valuable for our community and much appreciated.
